How to Backup Kontact

For many reasons you may need to backup Kmail and other assorted applications within Kontact. This short tutorial will explain how to perform this.
The following directories for e-mails need to be copied to a safe location (compress and or archive them if you wish, just stay organized)
for emails, you have to back two folders and one file:
/home/username/.Mail or it may be /home/username/.mail
/home/username/.kde/share/apps/kmail
/home/username/.kde/share/config/kmailrc
for kadressbook the directory to backup is /home/username/.kde/share/apps/kadress
Be sure to place these files back in their appropriate folders when the time is ready.
