IPod Support on Suse

January 5, 2007 at 3:10 pm | In iPod, openSuse | Leave a Comment

Install gtkpod from Yast. In Gnome you can right click the iPod on the desktop and go to properties.

On the last tab there should be an option to change the mount point. Simply type “ipod.”

Alternatively you can open a terminal and type su and enter the system’s root password. Then type in ‘ln -s /dev/sda2 /media/ipod’ without the quotes and hit enter.

Now you should be able to use gtkpod to add mp3 files to your iPod.
